Dougall Fraser on how color can make you feel better
Ever wondered why you love some colors over others?
According to previous research and a study done by Kurt & Osueke, in the Sage Journal of Psychology, color has been proven to affect mood.
I interview color expert, psychic and international coach Dougall Fraser on his new book, Your Life in Color.
In the video interview below, Dougall explains how we can all use color to enhance our everyday experiences and what to do if a color repels you.
“When I first discovered that color has the power to change specific aspects of our personality, I couldn’t wait to play with each one! I had been seeing color in people’s auras for years, and was noticing consistent traits. For example, seeing gold in someone’s aura often meant that they are great at business and excellent at getting things done. But over time, I wanted more out of my relationship with color. I wanted to not only observe it, but to actually learn how to use it. Now imagine that you could absorb some gold energy for yourself? Even if you are not naturally business-minded, using gold energy could be a powerful way to bring out that side of yourself. While this may sound appealing, how exactly do we harness the power of color? It happens through something that I call color activation.” – Dougall Fraser.
