How to Trust the Timing of Your Life

Have you ever beat your self up for not being where you think you should be?

I know I have and  many times in fact.

Maybe you thought you’d be further along in your career. Or maybe you thought you’d be married and have kids at this stage of your life. Or maybe you thought you’d be more disciplined, fitter and happier … by now.

Illusions about yourself and the world are one. That is why all forgiveness is a gift to yourself.

Your goal is to find out who you are and to trust the Universe unequivocally.

That means trusting where you are in your life – no matter the landscape of your current reality.

Trust the timing of your life and try to look at what you are going through without judgement.

When you remove the judgement of “how you think things should be” and accept them for how they are-  you remove all sense of weakness, strain and fatigue from your mind.

This automatically releases you from experiencing guilt and shame.

Now, this isn’t to say that you should stop creating a beautiful life for yourself – you should. It’s just to say that in the process of creating your life you can experience peace with the timing of it all.

I create peace in my life by:

1. Becoming aware of the thoughts that are automatic in my mind. And changing them as necessary.
2. Being less reactive to things that trigger me.
3. Creating and maintaining healthy boundaries with people in my life.
4. By leaning into my spiritual practice every single day.

I leave you with these words from A Course in Miracles: The Light of the World Brings Peace to Every Mind Through My Forgiveness.

P.S. I would love to hear your thoughts on trusting the process of your life. Leave a comment below or come chat to me on Instagram.
